Data Center layout and design
The right data center layout is key to ensuring optimal operation, both in terms of security and power consumption, as well as the accessibility of all technologies.
We offer a wide range of products for different types of arrangements. See more below or contact our experts.

CONTEG thinks first and foremost about the needs of its customers. That is why we have developed a unique universal self-supporting aisle.

The Customized Multi-Vendor Containment solution was designed by CONTEG Italy, the Italian subsidiary of the CONTEG Group.

The aisle containment solution is often deployed in high thermal demand solutions where cold air is directed directly to the cabinets.

The aisle system is considered as a standard arrangement of Data Centers. The cabinets are oriented face to face, with cold air being fed through perforated parts in the raised double floor.

In situations where there is no double floor to distribute the conditioned air or the room dimensions do not support a layout with cold aisle containment, the best solution is CONTEG’s Contained hot aisle.

This solution optimizes the use of cold air by transporting it from the double floor to the installed equipment. A deflector, located at the bottom of the cabinet, directs cold air to the front of the cabinet.

This cooling system addresses the requirement to separate hot air from the room by using a vertical “chimney” on the top cover of the cabinet to exhaust hot air directly into the hot space in the double ceiling.

Compact data centers combine CoolTeg Plus cooling units and PREMIUM Server free-standing cabinets. This compact unit is completely insulated from the surrounding environment. This enables zones with different temperatures and heat loads to be installed in the same hall. The front and rear doors of the cabinets are glazed or all-metal, creating a closed space for air circulation between the servers and the cooling unit.

The Mini Data Center solution with CoolSeven cooling unit was designed based on requirements and suggestions from data center IT specialists from around the world. The goal was to develop a cost-effective data center that complies the highest security standards, provides sufficient storage capacity and, most importantly, delivers financial savings thanks to a unique power-efficient cooling solution.
