Ventilation units and fans are used to improve the cooling of equipment installed in the rack. Ventilation units are mounted either on 19" vertical extrusions (horizontally) or on the top or bottom frame of the rack (connecting kit required). Units with 2 to 9 fans are available. These units are efficient, ecological, economical! New high-quality fans feature electronically commuted synchronic motors, well known as "EC motors". These motors have low power consumption compared to standard AC motors. For example, the power consumption of our new DP‑VEC ventilation unit is seven times lower than the standard D-VEN with equal airflow. On top of it, DP-VEC provides up to 60% more airflow than the standard DP-VEN.
