Welcome help for Czech Eurowag

The Eurowag, a provider of integrated mobility in Europe, has been growing successfully. The company’s expansion required an increase in server capacity in its data center. CONTEG participated in this project by delivering a complete non-IT infrastructure solution in the form of an aisle containment system, which physically separates the hot and cold zone, effectively reducing the cost of operation and energy consumption of the data center. Moreover, the solution is mobile and can be relocated anywhere.

The aisle containment with two rows of free-standing Premium Server RSF cabinets with electronic handles with integrated card readers, is equipped with roof panels and a sliding double door, which prevents any air circulation and ensures that 100% of the generated cold air is used efficiently.

A fully modular OptiWayfiber optic cable management system, which provides physical protection and ensures a favorable bend radius that is critical to the performance of fiber optic routes, is installed on top of the cabinets.

For optimal power distribution to the IT technology housed inside, the cabinets are equipped with monitored power supply panels (PDUs) with remote power metering at each of the 16 outlets. Monitored PDUs measure voltage and frequency, allow reporting of load power factor, real and apparent power, and energy consumed from the mains (in kWh).

The aisle containment also features the RAMOS Ultra ACS monitoring and access control system. This network-connected device not only provides remote information about temperature, humidity, water or smoke in this part of the data center, but also allows access control and real-time insight from anywhere. Physical access to the aisle and the cabinets is possible using access cards commonly used by employees across the company.
