Outdoor cabinets for an ambitious project in Mecca
The Masar Project is a major undertaking in the heart of Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
Contract
The megaproject fits Saudi Arabia’s 2030 vision, which aims for a pilgrim capacity of 30 million. It is designed to enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors to the holy city.
Our strategic partner approached us about using our flagship OutTEG outdoor cabinets. The project presented a specific challenge due to the dimensions of the cabinets (37x 48U). However, our R&D engineers took the challenge head on.
We delivered double-walled OutTEG cabinets made of AlMg3 material, specially designed as 48U outdoor units. The cabinets are equipped with a pair of air conditioning units, one on the front door and one on the rear door, which control and maintain the interior climate and ensure optimum performance of the critical IT technologies.
